Clear expectations

Questions before
you get started.

What Fix It Right takes on, how pricing works, and what to expect from your first request through completion.

Services & scope

What types of jobs do you take?

Defined-scope residential repairs and installations such as TV mounting, ceiling fans and light fixtures, faucets and disposals, door and cabinet repairs, drawer glides, small carpentry, minor drywall, storm and screen doors, minor exterior repairs, outlets, GFCIs, trim, and paint touch-ups.

What work do you not take?

Full remodeling, roofing, flooring, major HVAC, major plumbing or electrical work, emergency restoration, moving, and hauling are outside the service focus.

What areas do you serve?

Mount Pleasant and Isle of Palms, South Carolina only. The Virtual Estimate form checks the project ZIP code.

Can I bundle several items into one visit?

Yes. Focused Home Fix and Full Project Completion service blocks are designed for grouped, clearly defined tasks.

Pricing & estimates

How does pricing work?

You receive bundled pricing based on the defined scope before work begins—not an open-ended hourly bill.

Is there a minimum service visit?

Yes. The Minimum Service Visit is $225 in labor for smaller defined repairs and installations.

Are estimates free?

Most straightforward projects begin with a free Virtual Estimate. If an on-site planning visit is needed, any fee is explained before scheduling.

Are materials included?

Labor pricing is separate from required materials and fixtures. Small parts and consumables are included; other materials are quoted as needed.

Scheduling & process

How do I get started?

Submit a Virtual Estimate with a description, your ZIP code, and useful photos. Travis reviews the scope and replies with the appropriate next step.

Who comes to my home?

Travis, the owner of Fix It Right Handyman, evaluates and performs the work. Work is not passed to a rotating franchise crew.

What if hidden damage is discovered?

Work pauses so the finding and any change in scope or price can be reviewed and approved before proceeding.

Professional standards

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Fix It Right carries appropriate insurance for residential handyman services.

Do you stand behind the work?

Fix It Right provides a one-year warranty on labor and supplied materials.

Still unsure about fit?

Send the project to Travis.

A description and photos are usually enough to determine the next step.
