Defined work, clear expectations
What I can help with
- Replace a disposal at a suitable existing location
- Fit the mounting assembly and drain connections within the agreed scope
- Reconnect an existing dishwasher drain where applicable
- Check operation and visible connections for leaks
You work directly with me, Travis, from the request through the finished work. I confirm what is included before scheduling and review any unexpected conditions before additional work proceeds.

Details that make a difference
Check the space under the sink
Disposals vary in height, width, and discharge location. A larger unit can interfere with the trap, cabinet floor, or storage. Even a unit with a compatible mount may need drain adjustments. Send a clear photo of the entire under-sink area along with the new model link before ordering.
A dishwasher connection needs attention
When a dishwasher drains through the disposal, the connection must be set up for that purpose. New units may have a plug at the dishwasher inlet that needs to be addressed during installation. I include the dishwasher connection in the review rather than assuming every disposal replacement has the same plumbing arrangement.
A hum or leak does not always mean replacement
A jam, failed unit, loose connection, or leaking sink flange can produce different symptoms. Tell me where the leak appears, whether the motor runs, and what changed recently. Photos cannot confirm every fault, but they help distinguish a straightforward replacement request from a problem that needs further assessment. New circuits, concealed electrical faults, and major drain repairs are outside this service.

Questions about garbage disposal installation
Should I buy the same model?
A like-for-like model may simplify the fit, but compatibility still needs checking. Send the old label and proposed replacement link.
Can you add a disposal where there is none?
Send photos first. A new installation can require drain and electrical changes that exceed a defined replacement service.
Will you test for leaks?
The installation includes an operational check and inspection of visible connections. Existing drain or sink problems outside the agreed scope are discussed separately.
