TV Mounting in Mount Pleasant, SC

A securely mounted TV starts with the wall behind it. I review the television, bracket, wall surface, and viewing position so the installation fits both your room and the support available.

Send a description and a few photos. For many projects, that is enough for me to provide pricing without an initial home visit. Submitting a request does not book an appointment.

Defined work, clear expectations

What I can help with

  • Mount a customer-supplied TV and compatible bracket
  • Plan placement and check wall support before fastening
  • Confirm the agreed cable arrangement and access to connections
  • Check that the installed mount holds and moves as intended

You work directly with me, Travis, from the request through the finished work. I confirm what is included before scheduling and review any unexpected conditions before additional work proceeds.

Details that make a difference

The bracket is only part of the installation

Screen size alone does not tell me which mount to use. The TV’s weight, mounting-hole pattern, and the bracket’s rating all matter. A full-motion arm also changes how the load acts on the wall when the screen is extended. Send the TV and mount model numbers before buying additional hardware.

What your wall changes

Drywall over wood framing, masonry, and a stone veneer need different approaches. The visible surface does not necessarily provide the support. I assess where the fastening can actually hold, along with access and the planned location. An unfamiliar wall assembly may need an on-site review before I can confirm the scope.

Plan viewing height and cables together

A TV above a fireplace can look tidy while sitting higher than is comfortable from the sofa. Think about where you sit, how far you are from the screen, and whether the bracket needs to tilt. Heat, nearby trim, and access to plugs also affect placement. Cable concealment is a separate scope item; new outlets or concealed electrical work need an appropriate electrical professional.

Questions about tv mounting

Can you mount a TV on a stone wall?

Possibly. Send photos first. The stone surface, backing, and available support determine whether the installation is suitable and what fastening is needed.

Can you hide all the wires?

Tell me what result you want. Cable management is confirmed in the quote. I do not run a standard TV power cord inside the wall or include new electrical outlets in a mounting quote.

Do I need to buy the bracket first?

You can send a product link before ordering. Compatibility depends on the TV and wall, not just the advertised screen-size range.
